Jaipur, India (EMWNews) July 25, 2008 — Centre for Jatropha Promotion & Biodiesel (CJP) is very proud to announce that 2nd Global Jatropha Hi-Tech Agricultural Training Programme (JWTP) in India AT Jaipur, Rajasthan from July 14-18, 2008 was a grand success. The word “Excellent”, which was used by many trainees to describe their experiences, sums up the JatrophaWorld Training Jaipur, 2008 experience.

With Jatropha cultivation becoming an intensifying worldwide trend, how to ‘Do it in Right Way’ dominated the entire training, with discussions centering on the best practices in Jatropha for maximum returns. All the trainees who attended were glad to have had the opportunity to take their learning beyond the air-conditioned comfort of the conference room, and out into the actual field where they were able to see, touch, feel and do Jatropha planting first-hand.

The 63 Jatropha trained people from 31 countries very happy, very satisfied full of knowledge and confidence obtained their training certificate with joy and cheers like a graduation degree but again bit sad, sad because the session was being ended up.

They were happy because their Mission Jatropha Education completed.

They were sad because the 5 days programme ended quickly; they had to leave the class to implement the knowledge into the field.

Mr. HANS JEGGLE from Germany sums it beautifully with his comments, “you can sign one of my friends up for the next training right away”

MAHUOUD KOUSHESH-SABA from Iran came with tons of queries and had answers to all. He said “I am sad, sad because the session has ended very quickly.”

The Training Programme revealed a coming of age of the Jatropha industry, as the crop is already internationally renowned, and more and more projects are beginning to mature and deliver returns.
