infrastructure solutions, today announced that Chip Ganassi Racing Teams,

Inc. (CGR) is implementing StillSecure Safe Access®, the company’s NAC

solution, and StillSecure Strata Guard®, the company’s network-based

IDS/IPS, as the foundation of CGR’s network security initiative.

Safe Access and Strata Guard will be used to protect the renowned racing

powerhouse’s NASCAR operation in Concord, NC, as well as their IndyCar

operation in Indianapolis, IN and corporate offices in Pittsburgh, PA. In

addition, StillSecure’s solutions will protect Ganassi’s race car

transporters with their own built-in networks, resources, and users.

Prior to selecting StillSecure’s products, CGR was challenged by periodic

network outages that required extensive time and resources to remediate.

Initially, Strata Guard will be used to determine potential security

threats so that the IT team can proactively implement a process for

minimizing downtime. CGR will then roll-out Safe Access using StillSecure’s

best practices, phased approach to NAC methodology. Safe Access will first

be installed in interrogation mode to determine the general health status

of the company’s endpoint devices. After that the company will implement

the additional five phases — including manual remediation, automatic

remediation, manual quarantine, post-connect quarantine (working in

conjunction with Strata Guard), and automatic quarantine — to derive the

maximum value from their NAC system.
