Compugen Charter Member of Microsoft’s Desktop Deployment Planning Services Distinguished DDPS Partner Program

TORONTO, ONTARIO and RICHMOND HILL, ONTARIO–(EMWNews – Aug. 11, 2008) – Compugen has become one of a very few Charter Members of Microsoft’s Desktop Deployment Planning Services Distinguished DDPS Partner Program. Announced at Microsoft’s Worldwide Partner Conference in Houston, Texas on Tuesday 8 July, 2008, the Distinguished DDPS Partner Program recognizes partners internationally who have met the Program’s requirements for the level of qualifications and experience to deliver the services. The program was created to recognize partners who show an ongoing commitment to DDPS engagements and demonstrate excellence with desktop deployment for customers worldwide.

Desktop Deployment Planning services consist of prescriptive guidance, toolkits and associated risk management strategies delivered to Microsoft licensing customers who have associated software assurance benefits and choose to engage Microsoft partners to deliver the benefits. They are based on the Microsoft Deployment Toolkit 2008, which reduces the interaction time required to install desktop applications and operating systems. Customers receiving the services are able to enter into deployments of business desktop software and hardware with advanced tools and knowledge to execute in a low-risk and economical way, leading to increased software usage and productivity, lower deployment and operating costs and improved return on software investment.

Charter members of this elite Program have delivered DDPS services to many customers, have a minimum number of fully trained personnel, and maintain their Program membership through ongoing qualification, service delivery and evidence of customer satisfaction. They also commit to deploying the technology within their own operations, and developing case studies in cooperation with selected DDPS customers.
