Extreme Engineering Solutions (X-ES) Introduces Highest Density Multi-Port Serial Product in 6U CompactPCI Form Factor

MIDDLETON, WI–(EMWNews – August 19, 2008) – Extreme Engineering Solutions (X-ES) expands

their acclaimed XPort family of serial products today, introducing the

XPort1020, a 6U CompactPCI card with up to 12 multi-protocol serial ports.

The XPort1020 takes advantage of the 6U cPCI form factor to provide up to

three times the density of other XPort products. The XPort1020’s features

--   Eight (8) or Twelve (12) SCC interfaces provided by Freescale MPC8270

     processors

--   32 MB of ECC SDRAM per processor
