Hello, my name is Desiree from Corpus Christi, Texas. We are starting the fundraiser for the residents affected by Hurricane Harvey. As you know the coast of Texas is underwater. Highways, homes and cars are covered with water. Homes and businesses are destroyed from the flooding. Most will have to be rebuilt or have extreme renovating done. We want to help those whose homes are not safe to go back to, due to the flooding. This fundraiser will go to putting families in hotels until the flooding goes down; to families whose homes aren’t underwater, but would need work done to them. This will also go to food/water for families. The goal for this fundraiser is NIL, it will cost millions to get the coastal cities (Houston, Corpus Christi, Rockport etc.) up and running again.
