announced the appointment of John McGrath to its Board of Directors.

Bringing to Actel more than 20 years of experience working with high-growth

technology companies, Mr. McGrath has been Vice President and CFO of

Network Equipment Technologies (NYSE: NWK) since 2001. At NET, he is

directly responsible for global finance, human resources, investor

relations, and corporate services.

analyzing financial statements, the depth of John’s understanding regarding

generally accepted accounting principles, internal controls over financial

reporting, and Audit Committee functions makes him eminently qualified to

Before joining NET, Mr. McGrath was Vice President, Finance at Aspect

on the Board of Directors and as the Audit Committee Financial Expert of

Endwave Corporation (NASDAQ: ENWV) and on the Board of Trustees and as the

Audit Committee Chairman of KCO Investments’ Presidio Funds (PRSDX), a

public mutual fund. Mr. McGrath holds a Bachelor of Science degree in

Accounting from the University of Wyoming and a Master of Business

Administration degree, with emphasis in finance and international business,

from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Before entering the M.B.A.

program at Stanford, he was as an Audit Manager in Ernst & Young’s

High-Technology/Manufacturing Group.
