Manhattan Software, Inc. Announces a New Partner Program for the CenterStone CAFM Product

BOSTON, Aug. 11 /EMWNews/ -- Manhattan Software, Inc., the global

leader in real estate software solutions, announced today that a new

Partner Program initiative has been launched out of the Boston

headquarters. The program is focused on expanding partner opportunities for

the CenterStone application suite, a premier computer-aided facility

management (CAFM) software solution. The CenterStone product is a scalable

solution used by both Fortune 500 firms, which have increased pressure to

reduce operating and capital expenses, as well as small and midsize

companies for their expanding operations.

Dusty Smith has been appointed to lead the new Partner Program. Mr.

Smith has been involved with the design and data management software

industry for more than 35 years. The original developer of the Benchmark

Survey program, he was also an early third party developer for AutoCAD and

was President and CEO of The Computersmith, Inc., one of the largest

Autodesk reseller/integrators in the mid 1990s. He has been involved with

Facility Management and GIS software applications since 1987.

Most recently, Mr. Smith was a principal with Applied Spatial

Technologies, the developer of FMDesktop, which Autodesk purchased in

December of 2005. After the acquisition of FMDesktop, Mr. Smith worked at

Autodesk getting their resellers engaged with the facility management

profession and the FM offering.

He is currently managing and enhancing the CenterStone partner program

for Manhattan software. Mr. Smith said, "An expanded network of

integrators, resellers and 3rd party developers is an integral part of our

growth strategy for the CenterStone application suite. I am putting

together the right programs and infrastructure that will enable our

expanding partner network to take advantage of the many business

opportunities that our CenterStone solution opens up."

Manhattan offers three levels of partnerships: the Referral Partner,

the Certified Reseller Partner and the Certified Consulting Partner.

Existing partners for CenterStone include Nelson, Facilities First, and ROI

Consulting.

Ian Cameron, CEO of Manhattan Software said "Our current success with

our existing partner relationships convinced me that it was time to

dedicate a group of professionals to support and expand the partners' sales

and implementation efforts. Dusty's long experience in AEC Industry channel

operations made him a great choice to head this critical function for the

CenterStone solution."

The first of a series of webinars showing various features of the

CenterStone suite will be presented on August 20 at noon EDT. Please visit
