MONTREAL, QUEBEC–(EMWNews – Aug. 6, 2008) – Manitex Capital Inc. (TSX:MNX) announced today that it has sold the remaining balance of its investment in Fieldturf Tarkett Inc. in a private transaction. The sale generated a pre-tax gain of Cdn $1,873,000.

Fieldturf is the world leader in a new generation of patented infilled artificial turf systems used in stadiums and parks worldwide.
