WHAT:     Canada's Top 10TM Competition promotes the 10 most promising 
          life science, clean tech and information communications 
          technology companies from across Canada to Canadian and 
          international investors and strategic partners.

WHY:      Winning companies have access to financing opportunities, new 
          markets and strategic partners through:

          - Investment forums developed in partnership with the Canadian 
            consulates to expose elite Canadian companies to U.S. and 
            Canadian VC investors, licensing executives and potential 
            strategic partners. The forums give companies an exclusive 
            opportunity to present to top tier venture capitalist and other 
            strategic partners in a series of invitation only events.
          - Coaching clinics developed to refine corporate pitches
          - Ongoing support for business development and investment
