Multiple Sclerosis Cure: How Close We Are and New Treatments Barby Road to Beat MS

Río Piedras, PR November 7, 2021 – Hello everyone I am Barbara De Jesús Orpi and 6 years ago I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). It has been uphill to be able to adapt to this new life. MS is an autoimmune and unpredictable disease, no one can say exactly what’s going to happen.

My quality of life has decreased considerably since I was diagnosed with MS. Now, due to Covid-19, I was laid off and I don’t know when I will be able to return to work. Working was therapy for me. I do this fundraiser to cover the expenses of my Multiple Sclerosis treatments. That is, therapies, hospitalization, medical appointments, transportation, laboratories, other tests, medications, and attachments required by my condition.

Several days ago the neurologist, #5 that I consulted for my MS condition, tells me that my condition has worsened due to the possibility of using the wrong medication I don’t know anymore ‍whether to think if this is good or bad news. The only thing I know is that I will not stop, I will not give up on continuing to seek answers and a solution to my condition.

“I will not let MS define me”.
