Vintage inspired bridal accessories from veils to candy cart ideas. I am fundraising to expand my business.At my vintage day we stock vintage inspired bridal accessories at a price all brides can afford. We stock everything from vintage style hair pieces and veils to candy carts and sweet jars.

We offer personalisation on many items. If our customers are looking for something we don’t stock we will happily get the best price.

I was inspired to set up my company My Vintage Day while planning my wedding. I found it frustrating to see how expensive some of the bridal sites were and what poor choice there was for brides looking for vintage-inspired bridal accessories. So I was motivated to start my own business and provide a website for brides to source vintage inspired pieces at affordable prices.

I had been working as a retail operations manager for the last 10 years and found myself made redundant when the company I worked for closed. I have a passion for customer service and get great satisfaction out of offering a high level of service to customers. Over the last ten years, I have developed a strong understanding of figures. I have also a strong grasp of how important social media is for any new business as a major part of my previous role was maintaining social media outlets.

I have set up my online store and facebook page and I have achieved around €3000 in sales in the last 6 weeks. I am working closely with the biggest online wedding service in Ireland they work closely with wedding suppliers offering advice on suppliers to about 30000 Irish couples each year.

We are based in Ireland but will ship anywhere in the world.
