‘Outdoor’ Host Babe Winkelman Teams With Haybuster for Wildlife Conservation
JAMESTOWN, N.D.–(EMWNews)–Babe Winkelman, long-time host
of “Good Fishing” and “Outdoor Secrets,” has teamed up with agricultural
equipment manufacturer Haybuster
to promote wildlife conservation. Haybuster
provided a 77 All Purpose Seed Drill for use during segments of “Outdoor
Secrets” that focus on food plots, the
practice of planting food crops to attract wildlife and enhance
conservation. Winkelman will teach his audiences about conservation
practices like no-till
farming and how Haybuster’s 77 Drill is
the ideal tool for agriculturalists and wildlife enthusiasts alike.
“We are truly excited to have Babe
Winkelman join the Haybuster family,” said
Al Goehring, Haybuster Marketing Manager. “Our
shared commitment to wildlife conservation made the decision to partner
with Babe very easy. He will provide Haybuster with a genuine and
trusted voice to help increase awareness of our products and
conservation efforts.”
Winkelman reaches an average
audience of 2.5 million people per week, giving him great opportunities
to educate people about wildlife conservation.
The partnership with Haybuster gives him another tool to help spread his
message.
“I can’t tell you
how excited I am to have developed a relationship with Haybuster
to show the rest of the world how well this product works and how much
time it will save them and how much money it will save them,”
said Winkelman. “We like the Haybuster [77
Drill] because we can seed into conventional,
minimum till, and most especially no-till.
For food plots, this is absolutely perfect.”
Winkelman will feature the Haybuster drill in on-air demonstrations of
no-till farming methods for planting food plots. He will highlight the
benefits of the drill while discussing the need for greater conservation
efforts.
To the delight of all, Babe Winkelman himself made a surprise appearance
at Haybuster’s annual sales meeting in
Jamestown, ND, late last month to celebrate the new partnership. He also
plans to do a trade show appearance in the near future to generate
enthusiasm for both Haybuster and wildlife conservation.
