I’ve always been a spiritual person and, even before being awarded a disabled flying scholarship in 2009, I was trying to set up my own Healing / complimentary health centre in Cornwall, where I live.
My idea has always been to have the centre on a beautiful piece of land with a calm, healing atmosphere. Now, I’ve found the perfect piece of land, amazingly featuring meadow, woodland, two ponds and wetland set in 2.81 acres near Helston – and it’s up for auction on 23rd August 2017 with a guide price of £25,000.
If I were to acquire it, I envisage it having different areas which practitioners of various complimentary therapies, as well as any interested groups could hire by the hour / day, including the pond-side summerhouse which is already on this particular land, an 18ft-diameter tipi which I already own, a log cabin if possible, etc. There are also some lovely areas sheltered under trees and I’d have a fire pit and medicinal herb garden among other facilities. Perhaps helping to tend to the land would be therapeutic for some of the community, as would all the flora and fauna on the land. The seller aptly calls it A Little Piece of Paradise.
I have very little time to raise the funds to take this once-in-lifetime opportunity to buy such a perfect piece of land but thanks in advance for any help you can give with this. I know I can do a lot of good for a lot of people.
