trade for creating jobs and driving the national economy.

WHEN/WHERE:
10:00 a.m.
Kimber Kable
2752 South 1900 West
Ogden, Utah 84401
WHY:
With American's support for international trade ebbing, CEA is engaging
in this national effort to highlight the importance of trade to America
companies, and more importantly, the American worker. CEA has called on
Congress to reject isolationism and enact trade agreements that expand the
economy and create American jobs.
"Free trade is vital to any consumer electronics company, because all
of the goods that are exported overseas, equal funds that come back to our
economy, spur additional job growth and ultimately benefit the state as a
whole," said Ray Kimber, president of Kimber Kable and host of the tour
stop in Ogden. "That is what I refer to as being a good social citizen."
Consumer electronic companies, such as Kimber Kable, are prime examples
of how Free Trade has been a benefit to the Utah economy. Kimber Kable
exports about 60 percent of its product overseas, which contributes to the
more than $1.89 billion of goods and services produced by the consumer
electronics sector in Utah and exported to customers in foreign markets.
The "America Wins With Trade" national bus tour kicked off in New York
City on Monday, July 21, and stopped in Washington, D.C. for a pro-trade
rally and press conference on Capitol Hill. Learn more about America Wins
