Tesla has Laid Off 10% of its Global Employees Recently

Bengaluru, Karnataka May 6, 2024 (EMWNews.com) – Tesla is continuously reconstructing its workforce and making various changes to the marketing stagnancy. Elon Musk has made hundreds of layoffs in recent times, which has surprised everyone. Many employees were terminated overnight and that is making things much difficult for all. A lot of employees of the company have said they were terminated overnight and are not allowed to office the very next day. As of now, it is coming to know that they have laid off nearly 10% of the global workforce. The reduction in the company is leading to rapid growth.

On 15th April, Nico Murillo has been terminated from Tesla. He has been in the company for 5 years. He is quite surprised that after contributing this much time to the company, he has been terminated this way. He has given all his effort for the betterment of the company. In a recent LinkedIn post, he also shared that, he has slept in cars many times to avoid spending time traveling. He has shared ‘At one point in 2023 I was even sacrificing sleeping in my car on work days just to avoid commuting to work. Showered at the factory and slept in the parking lot. Microwaved dinner in the break room’.

While sharing his story, he said that nearly at 4.30 am on 15th April he couldn’t sign in to his account and his account was deactivated. Considering it as a technological problem, he ignored it. However, at 5 am he found out the final message of termination. He also added more by saying ‘I usually check my emails while on my autopilot commute to work (1hr 30min drive) Email read: “Unfortunately as a result, your position has been eliminated by this restructuring’. Right after that, it came to know a numerous employees have been terminated from the company, which is definitely a matter of concern for everyone.
