Tropical Storm Enteng Strikes the Philippines, Causing Multiple Casualties
Recently, Tropical Storm “Enteng” began hitting the Philippines on the evening of September 1, causing landslides and flooding in Cebu in the central region, Naga in the east, and Antipolo City, east of the capital Manila.
As of the afternoon of September 2, the storm has resulted in 11 deaths. The severe weather has led to the cancellation of several domestic flights in the Philippines, with port operations in the eastern and central regions also suspended. In highly populated areas such as Luzon Island and Manila, most government offices and schools have halted operations or classes due to the storm. Additionally, multiple traffic accidents have occurred within Metro Manila.
