POMPANO BEACH, FL–(EMWNews – August 21, 2008) – Cyclone Power Technologies (PINKSHEETS: CYPW) hosted Rep. Ron Klein (D-FL) Friday in a meeting requested by the

Congressman to view the Cyclone Engine and discuss ways to support the

company’s award-winning technology on Capitol Hill.

This visit to Cyclone’s research facility represented the second meeting

between Rep. Klein and the Cyclone team. The first occurred at the

Congressman’s recent press conference to announce his five-point plan to

reduce gas prices and help achieve American energy independence. Among the

solutions Rep. Klein presented in July to “break our addition to oil”

included greater investments in cutting edge technology, such as the

multi-fuel capable Cyclone Engine.

The Cyclone Engine is a highly advanced steam engine, capable of running

efficiently on virtually any fuel source. Over the last year the company

has successfully run the environmentally-friendly Cyclone Engine on dozens

of bio-fuels and synthetic gas alternatives, including fuels derived from

algae and other inexpensive, renewable sources that do not eat into the

world’s food supply. Also, whereas diesel engines can only use 5%

alternative fuels without voiding warranty and possibly damaging the engine

(according to a 2008 EPA report), the Cyclone Engine can run 100% bio-fuel,

even at less refined and less expensive stages of production.

The company also gave the Congressman a demonstration of its Waste Heat

Engine, a low pressure, low temperature engine capable of running on heat

from otherwise wasted sources, such as engine exhaust, kitchen ovens,

water-based solar panels, or garbage incineration. A production prototype

of the WHE is anticipated by the end of 2008.

“Cyclone Power Technologies is a great example of how American ingenuity

can help solve our country’s energy crisis,” said Klein. “It is time for

real investment in businesses that are developing and commercializing the

next generation of renewable fuels and the engines that can most

efficiently run them.”

Cyclone’s CEO, Harry Schoell, said: “We thank Congressman Klein for taking

time to visit our facility and learn more about the economic and

environmental advantages of steam engines like the Cyclone. The Congressman

has demonstrated his commitment to tackling America’s energy crisis, and we

support him in that important mission.”

CORPORATE PROFILE

Cyclone Power Technologies is the developer of the award-winning Cyclone

Engine — an eco-friendly external combustion engine with the power and

versatility to run everything from hand-held electric generators and garden

equipment to cars, trucks and locomotives. Invented by company founder and

CEO Harry Schoell, the patented Cyclone Engine is a modern day steam

engine, ingeniously designed to achieve high thermal efficiencies through a

compact heat-regenerative process, and to run on virtually any fuel —

including bio-diesels, syngas or solar — while emitting fewer greenhouse

gases and irritating pollutants into the air. Currently in its late stages

of development, the Cyclone Engine was recognized by Popular Science

Magazine as the Invention of the Year for 2008, and was presented with the

Society of Automotive Engineers’ AEI Tech Award in 2006 and 2008.

Additionally, Cyclone was recently named Environmental Business of the Year

by the Broward County Environmental Protection Department. For more
