WikiAnswers.com to Run AnswerThon(TM) for Charity July 26-27, 2008

today announced its summer Charity AnswerThon, to be held July 26 – 27,

2008. The AnswerThons, held a few times each year, are organized online

events designed to foster the sharing of knowledge.

During the upcoming Charity AnswerThon, each registered contestant will

pick one of the five featured charities to support

ArtWorks Foundation, CaringBridge,

Global Aids Alliance, The

Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or World

of Good and then answer as many

questions as possible on WikiAnswers.com,

sharing their knowledge and contributing to the collective effort of

others supporting their favorite charity. At the end of the competition,

the charity with the most contributions will receive a $5,000 donation

from Answers Corp. The second and third place charities will receive

$1,500 and $500, respectively.

Answers must be original work and can address unanswered questions in

any of WikiAnswers’ more than 3,200 categories. Anyone who is interested
