WorthPoint Adds Lynda Kolski and Dolores Elliott to Its Team of Worthologists

ATLANTA, Aug. 8 /EMWNews/ -- WorthPoint Corporation has announced

the addition of Lynda Kolski and Dolores Elliott to its team of

Worthologists -- men and women with expertise in and a passion for

collecting art, antiques and collectibles.

Kolski, of Wilmington, Delaware, has been in the antiques business

since the early 1980s and began specializing in antique linens and textiles

in the mid-1990s. Kolski exhibits and sells at antique shows from Maine to

Florida. A marketing communications writer and consultant by profession,

she has also written articles for Antique Trader and Antique News.

"The workmanship of early linens and textiles is truly a dying art,"

Kolski says. "Antique and vintage needlework often exhibit some of the most

exquisite and detailed stitching and handwork one can imagine. The time and

work put into these pieces is extraordinary and rarely done anymore. It is

truly an art form."

Elliott, of Johnson City, New York, is an expert in historic Northeast

American Indian items. Her book, Flights of Fancy: An Introduction to

Iroquois Beadwork, is used as a reference at the Smithsonian's National

Museum of the American Indian in Washington, D.C. She has also contributed

articles to the Bead Society of Great Britain, The Journal of the Society

of Bead Researchers and the DeWitt Historical Society.

For the past 32 years, Elliott has been the director of the Otsiningo

American Indian Program in New York State. Her Indian festivals, pow wows,

lectures, and workshops on Indian topics are well known. She is a member of

several archeological and bead societies.

"We now have more than 40 Worthologists and are expecting over 100 by

the end of the year," says WorthPoint Founder and CEO Will Seippel.

"Worthologists like Lynda Kolski and Dolores Elliott, both nationally-known

experts in their fields, are key to building our online community of

like-minded collectors, sellers and dealers.

"We are receiving an increasing number of inquiries from people who

want to become Worthologists," Seippel says. "We thoroughly check each

applicant's background and qualifications and require each to abide by a

strict conflict-of-interest code. We are committed to creating a safe

online site where collectors can share their passion for collecting and

find unbiased expert advice on the items they want to buy or sell."
