CostLoop adds email discovery, bank-statement imports, renewal tracking and automatic software price-change alerts for growing teams.

New York City, New York Aug 4, 2026 (EMWNews.com) – CostLoop, an Oslo-based software subscription management platform, has expanded its product to help freelancers, startups, agencies and small to medium-sized businesses discover recurring software costs, track upcoming renewals and respond to subscription price changes from one dashboard.

Businesses often purchase software across different departments, employee accounts and payment methods. As the number of tools grows, renewal dates, invoices, ownership details and cancellation information can become scattered across spreadsheets and inboxes.

CostLoop was developed to give smaller organizations a structured alternative to manually maintained spreadsheets and complex enterprise procurement systems.

The platform creates a central record for every subscription, including its cost, billing cycle, renewal date, owner, department, invoices, contracts, notes and cancellation link. Its broader subscription management platform also provides monthly spending calculations, annual cost forecasts, categories, tags, document storage and multi-currency reporting.

“Software spending usually becomes difficult to control gradually, not because of one major purchase,” said Milosh Mladenovski, founder of CostLoop. “A forgotten annual renewal, a price increase hidden in an email or a subscription without a clear owner can remain unnoticed for months. CostLoop brings that information together before another payment is processed.”

One of the platform’s recent additions is the CostLoop Email Scanner, a Chrome extension designed to discover potential subscriptions through Gmail and Outlook.

The scanner reviews subscription-related billing and renewal messages from the previous 12 months and identifies available information such as the vendor, amount, billing cycle and renewal date. The results are presented to the user for review, and nothing is imported into the CostLoop workspace without approval.

CostLoop also supports bank-statement imports. Users can upload a comma-separated values, or CSV, export from a bank or payment provider. The platform analyzes the uploaded transactions for recurring charges and presents possible subscriptions for confirmation.

Businesses moving from existing spreadsheets can use bulk CSV imports to transfer subscription records into CostLoop.

The platform’s renewal management tools include configurable email reminders and a monthly calendar showing upcoming charges. Users can review the subscription’s price, owner, documents and cancellation information before the renewal date arrives.

CostLoop has also introduced automatic software price-change detection. For connected inboxes, the platform checks for vendor pricing updates and displays the previous price, new price and percentage increase in the dashboard.

This gives users an opportunity to decide whether to keep, downgrade, renegotiate or cancel a subscription before the next renewal.

Additional product updates include expanded currency support, custom billing cycles, team workspaces, administrator controls and subscription request-and-approval workflows.

CostLoop is intended for organizations that need more visibility and structure than a spreadsheet provides but do not require corporate cards, employee expense management or a full enterprise procurement system.

The free CostLoop plan supports up to five subscriptions and does not require a credit card. Paid plans provide unlimited tracking and additional team and automation capabilities.

A complete record of recent releases is available in the CostLoop product changelog.
