How It Works

To add or embed a video in a press release, the video must be first added to YouTube.com. The resulting video URL should be mentioned in the press release. The video will be then automatically embedded below the video URL using our auto-sensing technology.

You are free to add:

• Video version of the press release
• Product demo video
• Company overview video
• Customer testimonial video
• Event highlight reel

📹 Step 1: Get Your YouTube URL

Your video URL should look like this:

Where XXXXXXXXXXX is your specific video code.

📝 Step 2: Add URL to Your Press Release

For proper press release formatting, place your video URL according to these rules:

• No image in press release: Video URL must appear after the first 500 characters
• With image in press release: Video URL must appear after the first 1000 characters
• Logos added through business profile — exempt from this condition

📍 Step 3: Proper Formatting

The video URL must be:

• In the last line of any paragraph, OR
• On a single line by itself

This ensures proper formatting and correct video embedding.

👁️ Preview & Testing

Preview Mode: The embedded video will be visible in preview mode during the submission process. This allows you to verify everything looks correct before publishing.

⚠️ Blank Space Instead of Video?

If you see a large blank space below the video URL instead of the video, you may have an incorrect video URL.

How to test: Simply copy the video URL and paste it directly into your web browser. If the video plays on YouTube, the URL is correct. If not, double-check the video code.
