Novus Hi-Tech Showcases Indigenous AGVs and AMRs for Solar and BESS Manufacturing at REI Expo 2026

Company highlights the role of physical AI and robotic automation in scaling India’s solar PV and energy storage production
Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh Oct 27, 2026 (EMWNews.com) – Novus Hi-Tech, a Physical AI company and part of The Hi-Tech Group of Companies, participated in Renewable Energy India Expo 2026, showcasing its indigenously developed automated guided vehicles (AGVs) and autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) for solar cell and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) manufacturing. The 19th edition of the expo was held from October 22 to 24, 2026, at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida, Delhi-NCR.
At the expo, Anuj Kapuria, Managing Director and CEO of Novus Hi-Tech, highlighted the growing role of Physical AI and robotic automation in solar PV and BESS manufacturing. The company presented its AGV and AMR solutions designed to help manufacturers improve material handling, operational efficiency, and workplace safety.
“India is rapidly expanding its solar and energy storage manufacturing capacity, and automation inside these factories is becoming essential,” said Anuj Kapuria, MD and CEO, Novus Hi-Tech. “Our indigenously developed AGVs and AMRs bring physical AI to cell and BESS production. They help manufacturers improve efficiency, protect sensitive components, and create safer working environments.”
At the Novus Hi-Tech booth, visitors saw a live AGV on display and learned how the company’s mobile robots support intralogistics in solar cell and BESS manufacturing facilities.
Solar cell and BESS manufacturing requires frequent movement of fragile cells and heavy battery modules within the factory. Novus Hi-Tech’s AGVs and AMRs automate this material movement to support consistent flow, reduce the risk of handling damage, and limit workers’ exposure to manual handling of heavy loads.
