The secrecy surrounding the patient’s identity builds to a startling and poignant cinematic reveal that will leave viewers questioning the true nature of the “life” being saved.
Directed by Brandon Mathis, “Patient” tackles a pressing issue that has plagued America for far too long. With gun-related deaths reaching alarming levels, including 690 mass shootings and 705 fatalities in 2021, the urgency to address this crisis cannot be overstated. Notably, gun deaths among children and teens have spiked by 50% in just two years, with over 25,198 lives lost due to gun violence as of August 1, 2023. The film aims to shed light on the powerful lobbying efforts perpetuating this violence, offering a glimpse into the world of those fighting to keep firearms on the streets.
Goals and Fundraising Campaign
To ensure the timely completion of “Patient” and its widespread reach, we are seeking support to cover essential expenses, including set locations, props, wardrobe, actors and crew, equipment rentals, production supplies, meals for the team, editors, music licensing, permits, and production insurance. Additionally, we plan to purchase advertising space to broadcast the commercial once it is finished.
