On Tuesday Oct 16 , 2018 Cardiac Critical Care Nurse , Christopher Szafinicki finished his shift at our Cardiovascular Interventional/surgical department at Cedars-SInai hospital to attend his brothers wedding.
Chris recently joined us from Atlanta and is a valued member of our team . He didn’t make it there that night ! He was sideswiped while riding his bike !
Emergency response ambulances returned Chris in critical condition to our intensive care unit on ventilator having sustained multiple fractures including facial fractures .
Chris has undergone surgery and is off his ventilator and healing .
Let’s help him as he heals and gets back on his feet again .
