All are welcome to attend, if possible. She had thousands of friends from other sites: Caring Bridge, Facebook “Praying for Lexi Stelter’s Miracle”, and Ronald McDonald House, to name a few.

I have been friends/sisters with Lexi’s mom Lisa Michelle Bordonaro since we were roommates in the Air Force in 1987.  People always asked if we were sisters, so we just told them yes.

I’m raising money to help Lisa with any of Lexi’s final expenses, whatever they may be.  Also, soon as Lexi passes her SSI and Lisa’s “job” as her caretaker will end. There will be nothing coming in until she can find a job, yet there will still be bills to pay.   She really needs help to offset the cost of funeral, and other expenses that will occur, and or help her get back on her feet.

Lexi is Lisa’s only daughter, who was in a near drowning accident on May 16, 2010…..story below:

****MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – A teenager had to be rescued from a culvert Sunday after being swept away by a current of water.Mobile Fire Rescue got the call for help Sunday afternoon. Two girls, aged 13 and 14 had been playing in two feet of water in a culvert behind Knollwood Apartments on Vista Bonita Drive. The current got too strong and swept the girls away. One of the teens managed to pull herself out, but the other could not. After Mobile Firefighters pulled the other girl from the water, they had to perform CPR. The teen was taken to Mobile Infirmary West where she is listed in critical condition.****

Lexi has recently taken a turn for the worse, and will be taken of all life support, and she will be made comfortable as she leaves to be with the Lord.   The funds will be necessary as soon as possible, but I’m sure it’ll help over the next 3 months.

This means so much to me because, 1) I love them both unconditionally, and 2) Lexi is the second near drowning victim close to me, the first was my godson Justin, who has not recovered from his brain injuries in 2007.  Many thanks to all who all help, you will be remembered in our prayers.
