My mother,Maria, is just 53. She used to be a hard-working woman all her life working in the coutry side. This hard work led her to this state of health right now. She is still so young and willing to fight this disease that really has shocked our family all of a sudden.
A short story about my mom’s health problems:
She used to have spine/back problems for a long time (around 15 years or more) and every year she was examined in our municipal hospital and prescribed ways of back treatment. She did not suffer any other health problems, but 2 months ago she felt really bad, as she was disturbed by severe spine aches. We could not have thought that it might be a sign of cancer.
Two weeks ago after a treatment that she was prescribed for her spine problems, she was diagnosed with cancer(doctors have no idea from where the tumor proceeds, anyway we have been already told that her very case seems to be too complicated). So at the moment she is prescribed to take chemotherapy in 10 days to kill cancer cells and metastasis in her spine and later on be IMMEDIATELY operated on the spinebecause she cannot walk at all and she has continuous headaches and backaches. As one spinal cord is already damaged, it needs to be replaced in no time.Her liver, right pulmon and some spinal bones are already damaged as well.So we are to take actions right now….
I have announced the above stated here in order to raise some funds and be able to provide her with the right treatment.
At the moment we are hospitalized in the Hospital “BORIS” in the capital city, Kiev, Ukraine which is private and really expensive.
She is BOTH such a marvelous woman and mother and she wants to continue living and sharing her nice smile with us.
