We just wanted to give a brief update. Nixx is in great spirits, she’s happy and able to jump up into her favorite place on the couch. Sure, she bumps into things here and there but that doesn’t stop her from enjoying life. She still loves lounging in the sun and playing with her pupper siblings, romping in the grass and having some rough and tumble time.

Nixx is responding well to the high doses of three different kinds of antibiotics.

Currently, the big fear is of having to surgically remove the eye but we haven’t gotten that far yet.

We just keep remaining positive that all will be ok now that we’ve gotten Nixx under the care of a great ophthalmologist.

Her next appointment is Thursday, we will update again then.
