My family and I, namely my sister and I, with help of other family members, are trying to raise money to save our parent’s home. They lost it in a foreclose 10 years ago, and have been renting from a landlord. This landlord now wishes to sell the property, so we are trying to get it back. Our parents have lived there for 50 years, and are unable and unwilling to move due to age and health. They have been approved for a mortgage already, but our problem comes in where they are on a fixed income and have to have a certain amount in their bank accounts for closing.
The money raised from this campaign will go to this purpose up to our goal. Any additional campaign earnings beyond our goal will go to hiring workers to help with repairs to the property since the landlord let the place fall into disrepair.
