Help with Sam’s Kidney Transplant GoFundME CrowdFundingExposure Campaign

My dad, Sanmogam Lingam is 59 years old, a disabled U.S. army veteran. He is happily married for 35 years, he has 3 kids and 5 grand babies, he is in desperate need of a kidney transplant. He has been on a medical roller coast for the past 15 years with his type 2 diabetes, cardiomyopathy (disease of the heart), arrhythmia, high blood pressure, asthma, pulmonary hypertension, gout, both shoulder pains and kidney problems.

He was diagnosed with diabetes over 15 years ago. Which caused severe water retention in his heart and having high blood pressure, causing his heart to enlarge and his overall body to retain water. Hes taken almost every know prescription for the water retention which eventually caused both his kidneys complete failure 5 years ago.

My dad who loved to take his grandkids to the park and mini family drives. He can spend every waking moment with them and not get tired. But being on different types of dialysis for the past 5 years and currently for the last 2 years on hemodialysis for 4 hours a day, 5 days a week doing the dialysis procedure at home.

This dialysis process is keeping him alive but has really taken a toll on him by making him weaker week by week. To the point where a couple of hours after the dialysis he is completely bedridden due to weakness.

About 2 years ago he was diagnosed with thyroid cancer, which lead to the removal of both thyroids.

Recently diagnosed with multiple nodules in his lungs.

He is currently enrolled in a kidney transplant list. Doctors say he is close to receiving one soon. My parents will really need help with the expenses, one of the most expensive would be living cost near the hospitals. Any donations and support he can get would really be appreciated. These donations would go solely to medical and non-medical expenses. Please help my dad reach his goal. Again, anything you can give will be greatly appreciated.
