This is my sister Robin, her husband Jay along with my two nieces Kaylee & Jaylah. Until recently for many years they lived a town called Paradise. This was their home town, wiped off the map by the horrendous campfire that destroyed Paradise, Ca.
As we all were going on with our lives on Thursday they were running for their lives as the town of Paradise became engulfed in flames. By the Grace of God, Robin and her immediate family along with the sister and her 2 children and their mother were able to escape to safety!
The ONLY items they have left are a few garbage bags full of items! Everything else has perished in the fire! Despite all the devastation, we all are so blessed that they all escaped with their lives.
But they really need help desperately!

Please take a moment and look around you….now imagine everything you have is gone! Your home, your vehicle, 99.9% of all your belongings, and even the ability to start over from losing your employment. It is a pretty numbing and terrifying thought!
Yet its a reality for so many people!

I understand that many of you do not know Robin & her family personally and that the holidays are right around the corner and wallets may be tight. I want to thank all of you for taking the time to read my sisters story! As Robins sister and being clear across the country in Florida. Watching what my sister and so many others are going through puts a new meaning on feeling helpless and being thankful for what I have. It has also restored and humbled my opinion of humanity with the kind and generous acts of people.
