Tupelo Caribbean Fest

Tupelo Social Network is set to host the Second Annual Tupelo Caribbean Fest. An event for all ages in Tupelo, MS October 21, 2017 from 2pm-8pm at Fair Park in Downtown Tupelo.

Tupelo Social Network believes in social and community responsibility. In addition to wanting to bring culture and diversity through this event a portion of all proceeds will be given to Tupelo Public School District’s Growing Healthy Waves Program that works with FoodCorps using “farm to school” principles in order to teach about food and nutrition. We will also be donating funds to Presbyterale St. Louis Crêve, Desforges an underserved school in Haiti. The precarious economic situation of the parents makes almost impossible a stable investment in the education of the children in that community.
Here are the biggest problems that confront the school:
No electricity, no drinking water, unable to pay the instructors, to name just a few.
So with this event we hope to be able to provide some relief for these students so they can have the full education the need while allowing attendees to enjoy something new.

Our goal is $2500 that we can split between the 2 causes. Even if you can’t attend this FREE event please donate what you can with this link.
