2008 Global Trends Conference to Focus on Critical Energy Issues
Experts in emerging solar, alternative energy and green building
technologies to provide insight on key issues affecting current and
future commerce
NEW YORK–(EMWNews)–Some of the nation’s top energy experts and
economists are slated to headline the seventh annual Global
Market Trends Conference next month in Chicago, where they will lead
three days of seminars and discussions on the most important emerging
trends in technology today—alternative energy
sources, green building, and the need for energy efficiency in a world
that’s placing increasing demand on our
natural resources.
Topics to be explored include how the “solar
revolution” is transforming the global energy
industry; how renewable energy will change the way we live; how the
United States and other countries are rapidly adopting green building
practices; and how these trends, coupled with market shifts in the
housing and oil industries, promise to reshape economies throughout the
world.
This annual global summit draws an audience of industry leaders,
scientists and professional association members eager to learn more
about the issues and new technologies that will directly impact their
businesses in the near future.
This year’s conference includes a series of
powerful educational seminars. The three-day event will be held Sept.
10-12 at the Sheraton Gateway Suites, located near Chicago’s
