AGI provides free SDK for custom application development



    EXTON, Pa., Aug. 6 /EMWNews/ -- AGI, developer of commercially

available analysis software for the national security and space

communities, now offers a free STK Engine Software Development Kit (SDK).

STK Engine -- formerly known as 4DX -- allows software integrators and

developers to create custom applications and operator-specific workflows by

embedding the 2D map control, 3D globe control, and analytical tools from

AGI's industry-standard STK software into COM-compliant wrapper

applications. AGI already offers the basic version of its STK desktop

application and low-level component libraries free of charge.

leverage the analytical power of STK within its own custom applications."



    The STK Engine SDK will be included with both the free STK Basic

Edition and the more comprehensive STK Professional Edition. Deployed

versions of any custom-developed application will require the appropriate

STK Engine Runtime license. In support of these new offerings, AGI offers

the AGI Developer Network, an online service for accessing free software

downloads, code exchange, developer blogs, discussion forums, Web services,
