Albemarle to Increase Prices of ETHACURE(R) Curatives

    BATON ROUGE, La., Aug. 19 /EMWNews/ -- Specialty chemicals

maker Albemarle Corporation (NYSE: ALB), a leading global manufacturer of

liquid curing agents for epoxy, polyurethane and polyurea systems for

coatings, reaction-injection-molded (RIM) parts and other applications,

will increase the prices of select ETHACURE curatives worldwide effective

September 1, 2008, or as contracts allow.



    



    The prices of ETHACURE 100 and ETHACURE 100 LC curatives will increase

by $0.35/lb worldwide. The price of ETHACURE 300 curative will increase by

$0.30/lb worldwide.
