AMCOL International Announces Quarterly Dividend; Increase of 13% Over Prior Quarter

    ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill., Aug. 15 /EMWNews/ -- The Board of

Directors of AMCOL International Corporation (NYSE: ACO) has declared a

quarterly dividend of $0.18 a share for the third quarter of 2008. The

third quarter dividend is payable on September 26, 2008, to shareholders of

record as of August 29, 2008.



    Headquartered in Arlington Heights, Illinois, AMCOL has five reporting

segments: Minerals, Environmental, Oilfield Services, Transportation and

Corporate. The Minerals segment produces and markets specialty minerals and

related materials used as a performance additive in industrial goods and
