Avalon Technology Group, Inc. Begins Distribution of Software-Integrated Biometric Mouse to Protect Children From Offensive Web Sites and Online Predators

ORLANDO, FL–(EMWNews – August 22, 2008) – Avalon Technology Group, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: AVLN) is pleased to announce that the company has been chosen as the

exclusive biometric hardware supplier for one of the world’s leading

parental control software packages. This software package, which protects

children from Web sites with adult-oriented and offensive content and also

blocks chatter from chat rooms containing predatory language, is currently

being sold in 123 countries around the world.

The software is integrated with Avalon Technology Group’s industry leading

biometric mouse, which is designed to read the parents’ fingerprints. This

will increase security and parental control of the Company’s software

product to protect children from undesirable Web sites and communications.

According to a recent survey, 93% of Americans between 12 and 17 years old

use the internet, 65 percent of high school students have admitted to

visiting unsafe, inappropriate, or illegal Web sites, and 31 percent of

7th to 12th-graders have pretended to be older to get onto certain Web

sites. Even of more concern to parents, statistics show that 20% arrange to

meet somebody publicly who they have met anonymously online. This new

technology combines biometric security with remote parental control

monitoring in real time to prevent dangerous internet behavior before it
