Bancolombia S.A. Announces Mortgage Securitization

    MEDELLIN, Colombia, August 22 /EMWNews/ -- BANCOLOMBIA

S.A. ("Bancolombia") (NYSE: CIB) announces that it intends to sell mortgage

loans to Titularizadora Colombiana S.A. ("Titularizadora") amounting to

approximately Ps. 191,098 million. These mortgage loans will be secured by

Titularizadora through the issuance of TIPS (Colombia's mortgage-backed

securities).



    The purpose of this transaction is to continue the transfer of

BANCOLOMBIA's mortgage loans to the capital markets.
