Emmy Nominated Comedian To Contribute To Launch Issue

Bill Maher was in town Friday night celebrating the upcoming launch of

Maher, host of HBO's 'Real Time with Bill Maher' walked the red carpet
and commented on the recent hesitation late-night comedians have had poking
fun at local presidential favorite Barack Obama: "You can't be afraid to
get booed and talk about sensitive material," Maher said. "I love Obama and
there is not much to make fun of... but I still do my best."
The event, which took place at Enclave after the comedian performed his
stand-up routine to a packed house at the Chicago Theatre, stimulated talk
of the upcoming launch when Maher surprised the crowd by announcing that he
will be contributing an article to Michigan Avenue's launch issue. "It's
