This event, the RecruitMilitary Career Fair, will take place from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. at M&T Bank Stadium, home of the Baltimore Ravens. The event will be the 65th of 104 RecruitMilitary Career Fairs scheduled for 2008. On September 25, RecruitMilitary will produce a career fair in Newark. On November 20, the company will produce another event in Baltimore and an event in Philadelphia.

In Baltimore on August 21, an all-star team of veteran-friendly organizations will conduct one-on-one interviews with the job seekers–organizations that will include corporate employers, law-enforcement agencies and other government employers, educational institutions, veterans service agencies, and veterans associations. Already in the line-up are Apex Systems, the Army National Guard, CSX, the Department of the Army, DeVry University, the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Fluor Environmental Group, GE Energy Services, L-3 GSI, Liberty Tax Service, Lockheed Martin Corporation, MasTec, Military Sealift Command, the Military Spouse Corporate Career Network, MVM, Inc., the New York City Department of Corrections, Snap-On Tools, State Farm Insurance, Strayer University, Transocean Offshore Deepwater Drilling, Troops to Teachers, the Veterans Benefits Administration, Walgreens, and Westinghouse Electric Company.

RecruitMilitary will produce the career fair in cooperation with The American Legion; HireVetsFirst, a unit of the United States Department of Labor; and the Military Spouse Corporate Career Network (MSCCN).

More than 500 organizations attended 45 RecruitMilitary Career Fairs in 2007. At those events, an average of 30-plus organizations interviewed an average of over 325 job seekers. RecruitMilitary Career Fairs conducted in 2006 and 2007 generated television coverage by CNBC, ABC, CBS, NBC, and CNN; radio coverage by ESPN and numerous regional stations; and articles in metropolitan and local newspapers.
