D.R.Y Announces One Million Yoruba Freedom March Under Provisional President Omokore
The Democratic Republic of the Yoruba (D.R.Y.) announces a peaceful One Million March for Yoruba unity, sovereignty, justice, security, prosperity, and national self-governance under Provisional President Mobolaji Olawale Akinola Omokore.
Ibadan, Oyo May 29, 2026 (EMWNews.com) – The Democratic Republic of the Yoruba (D.R.Y.), under the leadership of His Excellency Mobolaji Olawale Akinola Omokore, Provisional President and Head of the Provisional Government of the Democratic Republic of the Yoruba (D.R.Y.), has officially announced preparations for the One Million Yoruba Freedom March, a peaceful civic gathering aimed at promoting national unity, sovereignty, self-governance, justice, prosperity, security, and the collective future of the Yoruba people.
According to D.R.Y. leadership, the forthcoming march represents a historic moment for Indigenous Yoruba People and supporters across Yorùbá land and the global diaspora who seek greater national coordination, cultural preservation, responsible leadership, and peaceful civic participation.
The Democratic Republic of the Yoruba states that the event will serve as a national call for unity among Yoruba sons and daughters while strengthening public engagement around identity, governance, heritage, economic development, youth empowerment, and long-term prosperity.
The government of D.R.Y. describes the gathering as a peaceful and organized demonstration of national consciousness and civic participation, encouraging Yoruba people across all regions, communities, professions, traditional institutions, youth organizations, religious bodies, and diaspora communities to participate.
Under the leadership of His Excellency Mobolaji Olawale Akinola Omokore, the Provisional Government says it remains committed to peaceful coordination, responsible governance, cultural preservation, justice, security, and the advancement of the interests of Indigenous Yoruba People.
