Lendery marks more than 16 years of facilitating lending: brand first used May 14, 2010, online lending platform launched March 22, 2015, and Asia expansion plans reported by Business in Vancouver on November 17, 2017.

Vancouver, British Columbia Oct 29, 2026 (EMWNews.com) – VANCOUVER, B.C., October 29, 2026. Long before “fintech” was a household word, Lendery was working on a simple question: how do borrowers and lenders find each other without wasted time and hidden costs? More than 16 years after the brand was first used on May 14, 2010, that question still drives the company, which today matches borrowers across eight loan categories and supplies lenders with pre-qualified borrower leads in all 50 US states.

The record is a long one. The Lendery brand has been in use in Canada since May 14, 2010, the first-use date claimed in Canadian trademark application No. 1720105. On March 22, 2015 Lendery announced, in a release datelined New York, an online platform to facilitate business-to-business, consumer, mortgage and peer-to-peer lending, along with tools for borrowers, lenders and mortgage brokers.

In 2017 the company’s international ambitions drew the attention of Business in Vancouver. In “South Korea eyes artificial intelligence partners in B.C.,” published November 17, 2017, Business in Vancouver described Lendery as a Vancouver fintech company that uses AI in its proprietary platform connecting lenders and borrowers, and reported that Lendery planned to open an office in South Korea to expand its lending platform to Asia.

A Lendery spokesperson told Business in Vancouver why young companies have to go abroad: “It’s important for anyone who’s not well known in the global market to go out and explain the model and its value proposition.” The spokesperson added: “The point of technology is to serve people, to make lives more comfortable; so you have to let people decide what makes them comfortable.”

Today that work continues as a matching platform. Borrowers apply once, in about three minutes, and Lendery either makes a direct offer, in the states where it lends, or connects them with a vetted partner lender. Eight categories are covered, from personal loans of $1,000 to $50,000 to auto, home, business and student financing, credit cards and debt consolidation.

Three principles shape every Lendery match:

* Clear terms: the rate, the payment and the total cost are shown before a borrower commits, with no buried fees.

* Borrower choice: matched options appear side by side, and there is never an obligation to accept. Checking options does not affect a credit score.

* Real support: questions are answered by a person, not a script.

Lendery also serves the other side of the market. Its lender portal gives lenders pre-qualified borrower leads across all 50 US states, filterable by category, state, credit tier and loan amount, for $149 a month with a 2-day free trial.

From its Vancouver beginnings to a New York platform launch, Asia expansion plans reported in 2017 and US-wide lender coverage today, Lendery has spent more than 16 years facilitating lending across borders.
