My name is James Carroll. I have been teaching public school in Los Angeles for over twenty years. A while back, I went through a devastating and unexpected divorce which left me saddled with a $1,400 a month alimony payment, as well as the loss of most of my savings which amounted to just over $7,000.
I happen to be the owner of two wonderful cats. The one on the left is Henry and the one on the right is Sebastian. Both my cats have been diagnosed with diabetes and require insulin twice a day to maintain proper blood sugar levels. The insulin is quite expensive. Without it, however, their organs will eventually stop working and they will either pass away or have to be put down.
Both cats are also in need of dental work, including the extraction of several teeth. When a cat’s teeth begin to decay it can lead to many different complications including bacterial infections which can then become poisonous. Veterinary dental work is also very expensive.
With your help, I am hoping to raise the much needed funds to care for these two felines whom I greatly love. Thank you so much for listening to my story.
