GOZIRRA IT Consulting Acquires Dallas Based OG2

  The move is the first in a planned set of strategic growth initiatives.

  With it, GOZIRRA expands its service offering while taking strong steps

    DALLAS, July 14 /EMWNews/ -- Dallas based IT Consulting firm GOZIRRA

announces the acquisition of OG2, Inc. OG2 is a Dallas based Technology

Services firm, with a complementary service offering.



    "It's more like a merger than an acquisition," says Mike Glover,

GOZIRRA's CEO. "OG2's strong expertise in the Banking and Health Services

industries expands GOZIRRA's technical proficiency as well as its potential

client base. It opens GOZIRRA to an entirely new business sector."



    Philosophically, there is already synergy between the two groups. OG2

shares GOZIRRA's philosophy that small and medium sized companies should be

able to access large business IT services at reasonable costs. "No company

is so small that we won't give them enterprise level service," says Andy

Mathews, Co-owner and Founder of OG2. "We have always been conscious of IT

expenditures and their impact on business, and GOZIRRA operates the same

way."



    From OG2's viewpoint, this is a strong move for their clients too.

Leveraging GOZIRRA's innovative business-centric philosophy and proven IT

cost management solutions means Mathews and his group can now bring

stronger business services to his clients. "It's the primary reason we

decided to make the move," says Mathews. "GOZIRRA's strong infrastructure,

larger technical staff, remote support capabilities, business process

consulting, and keen philosophy to provide measurable IT savings will mean

better service at a lower cost to our clients."



    The acquisition grows GOZIRRA's staff to 17 people, which supports

Glover's growth targets of increasing his technical staff to 30 by year's

end. "OG2's staff has a skill set that complements our own," says Glover.

"We need that skill set to grow, and we're excited to have them on board."

No layoffs are planned and all of OG2's staff will be absorbed into

GOZIRRA.



    OG2 was founded in 1999 by Andy Mathews and Edward Oglesby after Andy

left EDS, a Fortune 100 company. Though focusing on small business, Andy

and his group have been servicing large and small businesses alike. OG2

grew to provide strong, full service IT including support for desktops,

servers, routers, firewalls and applications. OG2 is a certified

partner/reseller for Microsoft, GFI, Trend Micro and Cisco.



    Officially, the agreement starts August 1, 2008, but in reality the

transition is already in progress. "Everyone is excited about the move, and

it's proceeding well ahead of schedule," says Glover. The process of moving

OG2 clients to GOZIRRA's support infrastructure will start on August 1.

GOZIRRA is committed to a seamless transition for OG2 clients.



    The move seems like a win-win all around. OG2's clients benefit from

GOZIRRA's already strong business-centric support philosophy,

infrastructure and staff, while GOZIRRA expands its service offering,

acquires new talent and doubles its client base. "It's just the kind of

synergistic growth we are looking for," says Glover. GOZIRRA is well on its

way to reaching its end of year growth initiatives.



    With operations based in the Dallas, Fort Worth area, GOZIRRA continues

to build a strong foundation from which to launch a much larger support
