As of December 2017, the World Health Organization reported that half the world lacks access to essential health services. I feel passionately for people around the world that are neglecting their health because they cannot afford it or because they live in remote areas.
My name is Dr. Alexander Bujosa, and I’m planning to form International Urgent Care Health and Wellness. My mission is to start urgent care facilities in areas that are financially disadvantaged and in need of medical assistance — specifically places like the Dominican Republic and Panama. These urgent care facilities will give more people the option to make health and wellness a priority. I have a background which includes studying medicine in Cuba. I have been working in the medical field in the United States for over 25 years, and want to integrate my experiences from Cuban medicine to different parts of the world to bring people medical stability.
This international health care facility will provide medical and emergency services to international communities. We are planning on providing medical and health education to populations in different parts of the world and constructing different facilities to provide these services. We will be working alongside specialized medical doctors to make sure all of our patients needs are met.
I hope that everyone can see why this project is so important to me and can support it financially. It will greatly aid people in struggling economic environments to become a more positive and healthier version of themselves. In turn, we hope to give these people an opportunity to make an impact in the world while knowing they are medically secure.
