INX Selected to Provide and Implement a Cisco Digital Media System

selected by the ESC Region 19 Head Start Program to provide and

implement a Cisco Digital Media system.

Project Head Start began in 1965 as part of President Lyndon B. Johnson’s

“War on Poverty” as

an eight week summer program. Since that time, the program has had an

important impact on communities throughout the country.

In El Paso and Hudspeth Counties in Texas, the ESC Region 19 Head Start

program is a vital part of the community empowering children and

families through lifelong learning. The program is focused upon

providing educational opportunities and services for thousands of

economically challenged children and their families. Under the capable

leadership of Dr. Blanca E. Enriquez, the ESC Region 19 Head Start

program is accustomed to receiving 100 percent compliance ratings from

Federal Program Auditors. The program has developed a reputation for

excellence in everything from their facilities, the commitment of staff

members and the quality of their programs. Experts have lauded the

program as a model for the nations Head Start programs overall.

When considering a Digital Media System for the program, Dr. Enriquez

and her staff consulted with INX to provide and deploy the system. James
