CALGARY, ALBERTA–(EMWNews – Aug. 25, 2008) – Ivory Energy Inc. (TSX VENTURE:IV) announces that it has commenced drilling on the previously announced 15 infill and step-out well drilling program for 2008. Total depth for each well is approximately 630 meters. It is anticipated that Ivory will complete drilling the first three wells during the month of August. These three wells are expected to be completed, equipped and placed on production in early September.
Ivory Energy Inc. is primarily a heavy oil producer in Saskatchewan that is developing its oil properties and reserves through low risk re-completions, workovers, infill drilling, and enhanced oil recovery methods. Ivory currently has an inventory of 60 infill and step-out locations to drill on its Saskatchewan properties.
