La Senza Hits the Street With Fresh Spring Ad Campaign
MONTREAL, QUEBEC–( EMWNews – April 7, 2008) – Canada’s premiere lingerie destination is launching a national advertising campaign for Spring 2008. To kick off the event La Senza is hosting an exclusive VIP party held at the Royal Museum of Ontario’s highly-acclaimed C5 restaurant and lounge.
“We’re excited to be showcasing our new campaign this spring. This campaign is all about leveraging La Senza’s brand leadership,” says Karine Wascher, La Senza’s Executive Vice-President of Marketing. “We’re looking forward to the event as a unique way to launch the campaign and we feel the ads will bring a new dimension to the customers’ brand experience.”
The campaign showcases La Senza’s new revolutionary Extreme Weightless bra collection, in a series of sensuous and dramatic images designed to catch the attention of La Senza’s target market. Along with outdoor ads featured in transit shelters, vertical columns and posters in Toronto and Montreal, there will also be outdoor superboards showcased in high traffic areas in both cities. To complement the outdoor campaign, the ads will gain high visibility across the country with placement in several top-ranking magazines including Flare, FASHION and LOULOU.
The campaign launch party will be held on April 9th in Toronto. La Senza has teamed up with Anwar Mekhayech, Matt Davis and Allen Chan from the Design Agency to style their event at the uber-trendy C5 restaurant at the ROM. The designers will exclusively style a sophisticated and alluring one-night only space to premier the La Senza campaign images.
“We absolutely love collaborating on this type of project,” says Matt Davis. “It’s a pleasure to be able to provide added visual atmosphere to an event. The space is already quite dramatic and we have played upon that characteristic, coming up with a really groundbreaking way for guests to view the campaign and highlight La Senza’s vision.”
Along with dining on sumptuous canapes and enjoying a live fashion showcase via La Senza’s signature lingerie models, all guests at the event have the chance to win a trip for two to the Bahamas, courtesy of The Bahamas and The British Colonial Hilton.
