MONTREAL, QUEBEC–( EMWNews – March 31, 2008) – Young professionals, especially those from more traditional business sectors such as law and accounting, want to do things differently. RSM Richter LLP and Stikeman Elliott LLP’S Young Professionals Clubs are organizing a networking event for future business leaders, on Wednesday April 2nd, targeting those between 25 and 40. The event will feature the very talented researcher, environmentalist and communicator, Dr. David Suzuki.

More traditional topics of discussion such as performance, the economy or even technology are fine, but the environment is a more contemporary and common concern. “More and more, young professionals want their professional environment to reflect their personal priorities and social commitment. They are active and want to participate in social debates even if they are busy building their careers,” states Eve Laurier, Director, Marketing and Business Development at RSM Richter Montreal.

“Of course, young professionals recognize the importance of business networking, but they want to use the power of these networks to send positive messages and even create change.
