Miller Petroleum Mobilizes New Drilling Rig

    HUNTSVILLE, Tenn., Aug. 21 /EMWNews/ -- Miller Petroleum,

Inc. (Pink Sheets: MILL) has mobilized its newly acquired 2007 Atlas RD20

III drilling rig. This rig was previously in operation in Texas and has

recently been reconfigured to operate efficiently in the Appalachian Basin

area. The drilling rig and support equipment have now been mobilized to

drill a series of wells in Miller Petroleum's Lindsay lease holdings.



    Scott M. Boruff, Miller's newly appointed Chief Executive Officer,

aggressive drilling initiative. In the past the Lindsay lease has proven to

be a solid area for drilling and I anticipate strong results from our
