My Story
I started to learn about the Japanese culture through youtubers on YouTube. One day, I was watching a video about Japan and seen that a person made a video about foreign exchange in Japan. I clicked it and started to watch, as I watched I started to think I could do this too. At the time, I was too young to do foreign exchange in Japan for high school so my mom said no. I’m 16 now and my mom finally said yes I could go if I could raise the money. I started learning the Japanese language and practice daily. I want to go on this exchange because I want to experience the Japanese culture and possibly become an English teacher in Japan. I want to immerse myself in the language and culture and hopefully come back to relay my experience to those who didn’t get the chance I’m getting. It costs 10,500 dollars all together.
